“The staff were usually nice, especially when checking in. The hotel room did not feel very clean. Housekeeping was not very good, I think they spent a minute cleaning the room. The water pressure was pretty poor in general, but on one night it was completely cold and unusable (which is unfortunate in the middle of a shower). The “king” mattress (two singles together) was very uncomfortable, did not sleep well on any night. The bedding was also too small for the bed, which didn’t help. The top...

“I booked a Lakeview room specifically for our trip to Taupo. Upon arriving at 5pm to check in, we were told that our Lakeview room had been given to someone else. We had no option but to stay in a small view less room. We were extremely anmoyed to put it mildly. Will never go back there”
